Presbyterian Disaster Assistance is partnering with the Presbytery of Western Kentucky and many other faith-based and non-profit organizations to provide resources and support for rebuilding after the tornadoes of December 2021. Here’s how you can get involved:

First Presbyterian Church of Madisonville and First Christian Church of Princeton are serving as host sites for volunteers who want to come and do hands-on rebuilding work.

First Madisonville: https://www.newfpc.com/outreach/helping-the-helpers; contact Rick Lee at rbleejr@gmail.com to reserve accommodations and Mr. Jesse Breedlove, Volunteer Coordinator for the Hopkins County Long Term Recovery Group, at jbreedlove@hopkinscounty.net to arrange work.

First Christian Princeton: https://fccprinceton.org/ministriestop/; contact Tim Anderson with CrossRoads Missions at 812-406-6045 or tim@crossroadsmissions.com to arrange both accommodations and work.

Financial donations can be made to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (make a note for Tornado Recovery) or directly to our Presbytery.

See detailed updates in our Tornado Recovery Task Force’s minutes and contact Ralph Young and Bailey Pickens if you’d like to get involved!
